Launched in July 2014, the plurilateral negotiation on EGA aim at eliminating tariffs on products which can bring environmental benefits in terms of reducing pollution, preserving natural resources, etc. The tariff concessions by EGA participants will benefit all WTO members. The negotiation was suspended after 2016, but HKC as a participant looks forward to its resumption.
